Ukraine Support Programme – Zapaorizhzhia
We support an amazing couple Z & A in their work amongst the people of Zapaorizhzhia (E.Ukraine) to help the most vulnerable people who are suffering in the present war. Z & A station themselves between another European country and Ukraine and frequently travel back wards and forwards making very dangerous journeys to get to their destinations. This is a short report:-
“This trip to Ukraine was particularly difficult. The economic situation in Zaporizhzhia is very dire. Constant shelling of shops and large shopping centers has disrupted supply chains; store shelves are emptying, and people are scrambling to buy essentials out of fear of future food shortages.
That is why we decided to allocate some of the funds not only to our regular feeding program but also to support those who physically cannot come to us: the elderly living alone, people with disabilities, and large families. We are putting together food packages for them and delivering the supplies directly to their homes.
I believe that your support is especially vital right now and will help people who have virtually no other way to get the help they need. We plan to use these funds at least through the end of September”

In Zaporizhzhia, the enemy attacked civilians again. There are dead and wounded. As a result of the attack, two people died, and four others were injured, reports the State Emergency Service.
A residential building was destroyed. A fire broke out on the site, covering an area of about 150 square meters.
In two more locations, a private residential building and a utility structure were damaged — fires also broke out there.
Alarming reports are coming in from the Odessa region. Local media are reporting a hit on a hotel in Chornomorsk. Information about the consequences is being clarified.
Ordinary people, their homes, and their lives are again under attack.
