OUR VISION

Link to Hope’s aim is to combat poverty and give humanitarian aid and has special concern for the most disadvantaged. The poorest – especially people struggling to survive in poor villages that lack basic amenities.

Most vulnerable – especially children and the most marginalised.

Most exploited – the families and individuals who are at the mercy of authorities and circumstances that they have no control over Link to Hope’s vision is that one day every person in Eastern Europe will have a safe environment to live in and access to basic healthcare, human rights, employment and education.

OUR MISSION

Link to Hope’s is working towards its vision by supporting two particular areas of need – Education and Social Care. Our aim is to combat poverty through education. We work with children and young people and our projects aim is to target marginalised and poor children who struggle with normal schooling or because of their background or ethnic origin are marginalised and drop out. Our Community development and social work aims is to promote family cohesion and the inclusion of the most vulnerable and marginalised groups into society. We go and meet people regularly to extend help and advice to those that others would ignore. We also help with medical and dental bills, official paperwork, repairing of homes, helping with fuel in the winter and many other life line projects.

Washing Machine Ministry

The Washing Machine ministry helps people in the locality especially families and the elderly

Shower Block Projects

These are shower blocks that are built in the communities of very poor families in order for them to be able to wash themselves and their clothes and to help minimise illness and infections

Future Changed Kindergarten

Canteen

A wonderful Moldovan couple called Ruvim and Pasha have given their lives to serve the poor. From the proceeds of one of Link to Hope’s challenge events in 2008 we were able to build a canteen for the people of Cosnita

Emmaus Club

A club in Dancu for special needs children and those from poor and chaotic backgrounds.  They are given extra lessons so they can keep up with their peers as well as experiencing fun, games, love and acceptance.

Visit our Furniture & Charity Shops

Link to Hope has 5 Furniture and Charity shops in and around the Worthing area.  They are in Goring, Littlehampton, Chapel Road, Rustington and Ferring

Our charity shops specialise in furniture but also sell mens, womens and childrens clothing, bric a brac, toys, books, linen, DVD’s and many other items.  In addition to this our Furniture shops sell a large range of second hand, preloved and shabby chic furniture.  We are also trying to play our part in saving items that would otherwise go to landfill, be recycled and able to be used or worn again.
