Our delivery teams have returned from Eastern Europe and we asked Camilla Johnson and Simon Graham to write two seperate diaries off their experiences. They are both excellent and from two very different perspectives. Both however tell of the amazing journey your shoeboxes have made and precisely how they have blessed the people that received them. Amazing personal stories of the joy the boxes have brought and a real insight into the real lives of poor people in Eastern Europe. Read Camilla's and Simon's Diary
As the New Year begins why not decide to go and visit some of projects in Romania and Moldova on a Working Party with Link to Hope. All you need is enthusiasm, be a hard worker, want to help communities to rebuild their lives and have a week off in April. The cost of the trip will be return flights a little bit for accomodation and food. We would also ask volunteers to contribute £300 each towards buying materials for the project they are working on. You could be building a Shower Block in Cluj, a Community Centre in Razesi, Moldova or a Vulcanizare Micro Business in Dancu, Moldova - you choose.
We want to regularly update you with the success stories from our Future Changed project in Iasi, Romania. Here is Yanis and is one of the best examples of a child who is worth being in the spotlight, for everything he has accomplished in such a short time. Please read our lates report from the project and more about Yanis's success
